Top Example of Determination

What’s holding you back? Here’s a laundry list of possibilities:
  • Poor health
  • Physical limitations
  • Restrictions of society
  • Lack of education
  • Dysfunctional childhood
  • Lack of funds
  • No “tribe” to support you
  • Multiples rejections on the way to your dream

Sorry, none of these are acceptable long-term excuses. They just aren’t. I could name multiple ultra-successful people who overcame at least one of the challenges listed.  You could, too. In fact, it’s safe to say that the most productive people are those who have been forced to push the hardest against comfort and conformity.

GENTRI’s “Dare”

This trio of astoundingly talented young singers has an inspirational body of work. However, my favorite remains the video for “Dare”. It is a tribute to 8-year-old dancer, Alissa Sizemore. This remarkable young lady was hit by a UPS truck. She had to have part of her right leg amputated. Yet, that didn’t stop her from following her passion. Not this determined young lady!!!

I invite you to watch this four-minute video. It is well worth your time. Be sure to keep a tissue handy, though! My apologies. You have to actually click on the link:
