New Year’s Day: Resolving to Move Forward

New Year’s Day is coming up soon. 2019 has almost ended. 2020 is about to begin. Many people make goals to change and improve, called “New Year’s Resolutions”. Some of us also dwell on the sadness of lost opportunities or relationships.

How do we balance deep disappointment in the past and dreams for the future? It isn’t easy at all. We must let go of negativity in order to grab hold of any positivity. If we’re too comfortable in our cocoon of pessimism, then that’s a problem.

If we’re willing to move out of our comfort zone, however, the sky is the limit. This article contains scriptures and quotes about starting over and having courage to face the future. Let’s begin with this famous quote:
