You are Deeply Loved.

”The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.”—Zephaniah 3:17 (KJV)

We might not feel valued. There are so many groups and voices competing for individuals’ attention. Their deafening message is often, “Only members of our crowd are worthy of respect. Others are inferior. We’re right; you’re wrong..”

Accusations and condemnations are everywhere. Where is compassion?

Jesus didn’t discriminate. He was meek and humble. His miracles weren’t performed on the religious elite. In fact, he called the top leaders “whited sepulchers”. (See Matt. 23:27)  The Pharisees talked the talk, but they didn’t walk the walk.

Jesus Christ helped those who couldn’t aid themselves. These people were often outcasts. He had followers/disciples, but he wasn’t part of a clique. That’s great news for all of us regular people. Here are some resources on God’s love:

“God waits for you to communicate with Him. You have instant, direct access to God. God loves mankind so much, and in a very special sense His children, that He has made Himself available to you at all times.”---Wesley L. Duewel
******************************
“God is completely sovereign. God is infinite in wisdom. God is perfect in love. God in His love always wills what is best for us. In His wisdom He always knows what is best, and in His sovereignty He has the power to bring it about.”--Jerry Bridges
******************************
“No matter what storm you face, you need to know that God loves you. He has not abandoned you.”--Franklin Graham
******************************
“Though our feelings come and go, God's love for us does not.”--C.S. Lewis
******************************
“God bestows His blessings without discrimination. The followers of Jesus are children of God, and they should manifest the family likeness by doing good to all, even to those who deserve the opposite.”--F.F. Bruce

“Though we are incomplete, God loves us completely. Though we are imperfect, He loves us perfectly. Though we may feel lost and without compass, God’s love encompasses us completely. … He loves every one of us, even those who are flawed, rejected, awkward, sorrowful, or broken.”―Dieter F. Uchtdorf

My Conclusion

“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,”
“Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)”-- Ephesians 2:4-5 King James Version (KJV)

 “Your Love is Everything.”—Chris McClarney

Do you feel cherished by God?

  1. This was a beautiful quote: He loves every one of us, even those who are flawed, rejected, awkward, sorrowful, or broken.

Yes, I know my heavenly Father cherishes me - no matter what. Thank you, Traci

    1. Carol Graham, that's my favorite quote, too. I think it speaks to everyone. We need more validating sayings like that.

Thanks for your validation of my blog post, in the meantime!
