For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”-- Psalm 139:13-14 (KJV)

Thank you for reading!
I appreciate your support!
This article is a
celebration of the divinity in each of us.
******************************
The
scriptures tell us “God don’t make no junk”, as the saying goes. How wonderful
is that? We’re treasures, every one of
us.
Wait. Since
when is a “treasure” scratched, dented, unfinished, broken…? Think of pearls. Yes, pearls. They begin as waste material inside of oysters.
Over time, the precious jewel is formed. These gems come in many varieties.
They range in price from $20 to $200.That’s a lot of money for a tiny sphere.
Gems in the
making. That’s you. That’s me.
Individuals
may not get treated like a priceless heirloom. Our self-talk can also be
disrespectful. If we don’t believe in ourselves, how can we help others? Here
are some quotes on the importance of self-compassion:
“Today you are you! That is truer than true!
There is no
one alive who is you-er than you!
Shout loud, ‘I
am lucky to be who I am.’”Dr. Seuss, Happy Birthday to You
“Self-love
is not selfish. You cannot truly love another until you learn to love yourself.”
******************************
“You can’t
pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first.”
******************************
“You are
allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously.”
******************************
“Put
yourself at the top of your to-do list every single day and the rest will fall
into place.”
******************************
“You were
born to be real, not to be perfect.”
******************************
“Your
relationship with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship you
have.”
******************************
“Demonstrate
love by giving it, unconditionally, to yourself. And as you do you will attract
others into your life without conditions.”
My Conclusion
“So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my
helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Hebrews 13:6 (KJV)
He loves us.
That’s empowerment!
Do you love yourself enough to pass that on to others?
We are on the same page - this was what I was teaching this week. Thank you for these quotes I can draw from as well.
