Love: a Creative Power, part 3

 “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”-- Romans 5:5 (KJV)

We live in the real world. Few people get their needs instantly met. Fewer still always get what they want. Crises don’t usually get resolved in the space of one to three hours. That’s for the realm of action and romance movies.

Life is full of delays and disappointments. What’s the usual result?
  • Anger
  • Frustration
  • Resentment

Everyone has experienced a feeling of helplessness and hopelessness. How can a broken individual access the power to overcome?

We must dig deep inside ourselves. We have a stable core that is unaffected by winds of change, no matter how harsh. Let’s look at this analogy:

The deepest part of the ocean is black and still. It is completely unaffected by the surface weather.
What is the human being’s unchanging core of strength? Love.

This is the third article in a series on love. Please see the first writings here and here.

Today’s post will explain our internal treasure of love. This will be done through quotes.

Highlights from an article at divinelovelight.com:

“The solid basis of Love's strength forms your spiritual core.”
“You have direct inner, internal access within yourself, to all of the beautiful riches of life, because your heart is One with God's heart, which is filled with infinite love, infinite goodness, and infinite blessings of eternal magnitude.”
“You are Eternity stepped into time. Infinite goodness, infinite riches, and infinite blessings can be directly accessed within your spiritual core.”
“God is Love, and Love beholds all the beautiful riches of life, and YOU, are innately connected within your own heart with the omnipresent Presence of All Good.”
“From your spiritual core, you are highly creative.”
“Thus, in your true spiritual identity, you express and birth creations into your life all the time. So express abundant goodness in all areas of your life.

My Conclusion

“For your perfect wisdom and perfect goodness,
For the love you have for all people;
For the love you have for me;
For the great and mysterious opportunity of my life;
For your Spirit, who dwells in my heart;
For the seven gifts of your Spirit;
I praise and worship you, O Lord.”—Reverend John Baillie
******************************
“In the silence of the heart God speaks,
If you face God in prayer and silence,
God will speak to you. Then you will know
that you are nothing. It is only when you
realize your nothingness, your emptiness,
that God can fill you with Himself. Souls
of prayer are souls of great silence.”—Saint Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa)

Do you feel the creative love within?
